Security Technology
Pro Automation GmbH focuses on three main research aspects, so called ‘pillars of modern technology and society’: security, robotics and mechatronics. Research within the scope of security bears an extremely important aspect mainly in robotics, because of the fact that mobile robots can play a supporting role in executing units. Both grounded and flying robots constitute research areas of Pro Automation. The main focus is to find practical application possibilities in this area.
Rounding it off, the third pillar ‘mechatronics’ deals with the development of mobile applications in order to increase general security.
There was a research project in 2009 (accomplished by former ‘RAMERO Tech’) dealing with the topic security technology. The main focus was the research of an image processing algorithm to detect people and hazardous objects.

Robotics Mechatronics
Another objective of Pro Automation GmbH is the research of new robot structures to efficiently increase production capacities or improve production methods and to reduce energy consumption. Industrial facilities are being examined regarding their emissions to find a solution for a possible reduction. The ambitious target is a ‘green factory’ keeping emissions at the lowest level.
